Big Bear Beckons

This is a great time of the year for our journey, taking us from the 3,000 foot level in the Mojave Desert to 6,000 foot high, clear mountain vistas the San Bernardino Mountains. We will ultimately pass Big Bear Lake on the way home. The terrain will change from the small, dry Joshua trees near Hesperia to the glorious tall pines, as we travel one of the most scenic trails in southern California!

You won’t want to miss this event!

The main trail, 3N14, is a moderate road. It is great for any 4 Wheel Drive vehicle. It is a fairly long and awe inspiring trail as we cruise all the way to the top.

Along the way, there will be an optional detour so that those with serious vehicles can quench their thirst for adventure and provide entertainment for others.

Our journey finishes in an extravagant setting on a picturesque summit ridge overlooking the desert, with views of both Big Bear Lake and Lake Arrowhead.

We have a planned acoustic guitar worship, for those who wish to linger.

This club was formed with the intention of providing somewhat of an outreach, if only by example. So, please invite your friends, regardless of their spiritual persuasions, if any, to ride along or to join us in their own (street-legal) Four Wheel Drive vehicles.

This route can be navigated by most stock 4 wheel drive vehicles, so even if you have never been off-roading, please plan to join us.

To ensure that our outings are safe and comply with all local, state and federal regulations of the areas we use, the following guidelines apply:

ONLY STREET-LEGAL 4 WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLES ARE PERMITTED

ALL VEHICLES MUST BE OPERATED AT ALL TIMES BY A RESPONSIBLE LICENSED DRIVER

We regret that no other types of vehicles can be allowed on the outings. If you own dirt bikes, quads, dune buggies, or just like to thrash your 2 wheel drive, then Praying In The Dirt, another of our Extremeside Ministries at Eastside, is the place for you. Please check the Family Life Ministries page in the Eastside.com web site for info about their upcoming events.
