have an established product, preferably one that does not require much
in the way of customer service, such as a food product, building
material, textile, or any number of other possibilities, then the best
way to begin selling to the large market in China is to find an
established distributor located there who can get your products into
stores, or sell them online and ship them locally.
To accomplish this, the services of an Export
Management Company (EMC) or an Export Trading Company (ETC) may be your solution. In this role, CWI can find
other manufacturers, dealers, distributors or salespersons in China, who are
interested in buying or reselling your products. CWI can facilitate
the export of your U.S. made products. We can act as your export
department and, depending on the product and circumstances, we may
even want to buy directly from you and export the merchandise
ourselves.
We can also promote your product by advertising,
marketing, and exhibiting. We can oversee the packaging so it is
proper and appealing to the Chinese consumer. We can also arrange for
the shipping and exporting from your stateside location. Depending on
the product and the circumstances, we may be paid by commission,
salary, or retainer plus commission, or become your direct customer.
